Holy Trinity Lutz is a called and gathered congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). We’re not here to sell you a religious experience. We’re here to receive Christ’s gifts and to be sent in love, following Jesus and serving our neighbors.
We believe Jesus Christ is not distant from real life. He comes near to sinners with real gifts: His Word of forgiveness, Holy Baptism, and Holy Communion, what Lutherans call the Means of Grace.
That’s why our welcome is not based on “fitting in,” having it together, or knowing what to do. It’s grounded in something stronger: Christ for you!

On Sundays we gather for the Divine Service, which simply means God serves us before we do anything for Him. This is Christian worship shaped by Scripture and the historic pattern of worship in the Church (the ordo in Latin), which will look and sound very familiar to those from other liturgical churches.
Generally, speaking you'll experience reverent worship rooted in traditional Lutheran liturgy and hymnody, with occasional contemporary songs that fit our confession.
You don’t need to know the Divine Service ahead of time. We use a bulletin with the entire service printed out, and you’re free to participate at whatever level is comfortable for you.
Children are welcome here, noise and all. Babies cry. Kids squirm. Sometimes they are finding their voice at inopportune times. As parents, we’ve all been there.
If your child becomes too disruptive, a nursery/family space is available nearby, but please know this: you will not be judged for having children who act like children.
Holy Communion is a precious gift given by Christ Himself. In this sacred meal, our Lord gives us His true body and blood, in, with, and under the bread and wine, for the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.
